However, you can achieve the same look with the core blocks if you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to use GenerateBlocks (highly suggested), you should <a href=\"https:\/\/generateblocks.com\/install\/\">install it<\/a> and then download the content file below.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-button-wrapper gb-button-wrapper-b427f4af\">\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-fc847e91 gb-button-text button\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.generatepress.com\/generatepress-demo.xml\" download>Download Demo Homepage (GenerateBlocks)<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>If you want to use Core blocks instead og GenerateBlocks, you can download the file below.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"gb-button-wrapper gb-button-wrapper-f8a24f8e\">\n\n<a class=\"gb-button gb-button-282f25f7 gb-button-text button\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.generatepress.com\/generatepress-demo-core.xml\" download>Download Demo Homepage (Core Blocks)<\/a>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><em>Note: Using the core blocks will give you mostly the same look, but we&#8217;re limited to core features, so a couple of things might be slightly different.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will import a page named &#8220;Home&#8221; to your website. You can now see it in the &#8220;Pages&#8221; area of your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/docs.generatepress.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/importing-demo.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Set the Front Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first thing we need to do is set a static front page. By default, WordPress will use the posts page (blog) as your front page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the page we imported above (or your own custom page if you want), go to &#8220;Settings &gt; Reading&#8221; and set the &#8220;Front page displays&#8221; option to &#8220;A static page&#8221;, and choose the page you imported\/created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adding the Logo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, we&#8217;ll add the logo to our site.
