However, it is easy to add breadcrumbs from a third party plugin using hooks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will use <a href=\"https:\/\/en-ca.wordpress.org\/plugins\/wordpress-seo\/\">Yoast SEO<\/a> for the examples below but the method should apply to any breadcrumb plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"GeneratePress - Adding Breadcrumbs\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GkJq5fMwDxs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Hooks Element<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have GP Premium, the easiest method is to use our <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.generatepress.com\/article\/hooks-element-overview\/\">Hooks Element<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Go to <strong>Appearance<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Elements<\/strong>. Click <strong>Add New<\/strong> and select <strong>Hook<\/strong> to create a new hook element.<\/li><li>Add the <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/yoast.com\/help\/implement-wordpress-seo-breadcrumbs\/#pageshortcode\" target=\"_blank\">shortcode<\/a><\/strong> provided by Yoast.<\/li><li>In the <strong>Hook<\/strong> dropdown list, select the desire location for the breadcrumbs to show using the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.generatepress.com\/article\/hooks-visual-guide\/#single-post\">visual guide<\/a>.
